Abigail Noble leads the work on impact investing at World Economic Forum. She is the co-author of the World Economic Forum’s recent publications on Impact Investing From Ideas to Practice, From the Margins to the Mainstream. Through her work, Abigail has a good view of the development of impact investing globally.

In the past few years the Nordics have been pioneering the development of the Impact Investing space. The countries wants to be more progressive in values based investing regarding the environment and society. Learn more about Impact Investing during our TBLI CONFERENCE NORDIC 2014, Oslo, Norway

On September, 10-11 TBLI CONFERENCE will bring its network to Scandinavia and will mark the beginning of a new ESG & Impact Investing event series.  The event is held in cooperation with the BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo. For 2 days, TBLI CONFERENCE and BI Norwegian Business School will offer a platform to learn about sustainable investing in the Nordic region and beyond, to discuss current developments and innovation – and to find new business partners.

At TBLI CONFERENCE NORDIC 2014, we have included the topic of Impact Investing into the roundtable session on “Impact Investing - Moving towards mainstream finance?”, on 10 September. Confirmed participants in this session are Ibrahim AlHusseini (Managing Member - The Husseini Group / The FullCycle Energy - USA) and Dr. Marie Charles (Managing General Partner - Tiger Healthcare Private Equity - Hong Kong).

The topic is also included in Workshop 3 on “Trends in Impact Investing: Case Studies”, on 10 September. Confirmed participants in this workshop are Karin Malmberg (Manager - Environmental and Social Themed Investing and Principles for Investors in Inclusive Finance - United Kingdom), Klaus Tischhauser (Co-founder and CEO - responsibillAty Investments AG - Switzerland) and Unni Beate Sekkesæter (Founder, CEO and President - Mikrofinans Norge - Norway).
